ETA: Interesting fact that you'd never realise from the show: the respective ages of Colbert, Fick and Person are 28, 25 and 22.

Could Generation Kill be what finally gets David Simon and Ed Burns an Emmy or Golden Globe nomination - or even, dare I say, a win? HBO has usually dominated the miniseries/TV movie categories in the past. Maybe Generation Kill will be the success at the awards that The Wire never was during its five season run.
